Advisory Education Committee have expresaed very
criticial view of steps taken according report of Director
of Education enclosed in your despatch No 524 of 10th
September particularly in respect of recommendations of
Burney regarding school certificate examination and course.
Very desirable that selection of best candidate available
from outside Colony for new post of Chief Inspector should
not be further delayed and I should be glad to know reference
your telegram No. 280 who thor appointment may now be
proceeded with.
